Storm was our first Weimaraner. He is truly a versatile hunting dog by all accounts. Storm is an outstanding field dog and exceptional water dog proven time and time again whether it be hunting, training or testing. In the field, Storm has the endurance to hunt all day and will always produce plenty of birds. He is a substantial boy who has desire and drive achieving a NAVHDA Utility prize 1 which brought him to the NAVHDA Invitation test in 2008. Storm has a staunch point and a great nose, is enthusiatic and always coopoerative.
Storm has sired some excellent puppies who have also proven themselves exceptional hunters in the field. Notably, his 2008 litter with “Ella” Ch Grayangel Lady Ella von Gaul (Michelle & Stan Nowacki of Zauberhaft Weimaraners, Cincinnati, Ohio), qualified for a 2009 NAVHDA Natural Ability Breeders Award (Zauberhaft’s Celestial Storm Tracker “Doppler”, NAVHDA NA I (112), Zauberhaft’s Creatin’ A Firestorm “Breeze”, NAVHDA NA II (107), Zauberhaft Storm Girl From The North Country “Isa”, NAVHDA NA III (98), Zauberhaft Victoria’s Secret Storm “Pink”, NAVHDA NA I (101))
Storm received his conformation championship title in 3 shows with significant wins over Specials, when he was not in the field training for NAVHDA tests or CKC Pointing Dog tests.
After a hard days work in the field, Storm always enjoys sleeping in his favorite chair.
