Baron came to us when he was three after living the "high life" abroad running free on an executive golf course during its construction phase.  He had strong will and exceptional energy so into field training he went.  Baron has proved himself a versatile hunting dog through and through.  Baron, like Storm, loves to hunt. Retrieving ducks and geese are easy for a dog who loves to swim in any condition!  Baron has a rock-solid point, exceptional nose and is very cooperative.  Baron is known for his great ranging ability and determination to find game.  Baron has tested in the field along with Storm acquiring a NAVHDA UT Prize II.  Baron runs the field with ease and purpose always producing game and impressing judges with his speed and style.   Baron and Storm are great hunting partners and a remarkable site to see working together in the field.

Baron has his conformation championship title, proving form and function pay off in the field. 

Baron has sired puppies that have NAVHDA NA titles in Canada and the US.  Notably, Baron's 2008 litter with "Mattie" WeatherRun's Automatic Overdrive qualified for a 2009 NAVHDA Natural Ability Breeders Award (Shadowpoint's Summer Daisy "Faye, NAVHDA NA Prize I (108), Shadowpoint's Camden "Briggs" NAVHDA NA Prize I (107), Shadowpoint's Sterlting Sir Symon, NAVHDA NA Prize I (112), Shadowpoint's Ruby Tuesday "Juno", NAVHDA NA Prize I (112).
